I AM one of those that feel the Union Flag should be flown over Belfast City Hall all year round.
I have visited both New Zealand and Canada and those who have emigrated to those countries accept the flag of the country.
I have stood below the New Zealand flag in Auckland and it also flies on their main hospital.
I have also stood below the Canadian flag on the Old Town Hall in Vancouver, that wonderful city on the west coast of Canada.
I would therefore urge those in power at the City Hall to reverse their ill-thought-out decision not to fly the flag all year round.
