Almost 30 local companies have joined the City Council led delegation.

Rory said: “Belfast is an extraordinary city with extraordinary people. It is a city of unlimited talent and energy.

“But to realise potential, everyone understands the importance of commitment and hard work – and Belfast has that in abundance.

“These are all attributes that I have had to develop to achieve success in the sporting world. I am grateful for the talent I have but it had to be nurtured and developed in order for me to reach the top of my game.

“And it would not be possible to reach where I am had it not been for the energy, drive, determination and support invested in me by those around me.

“That is what you can look forward to if you come to Belfast. You invest in this city and the people will ensure you get the return you want. They will ensure you get to where you want to go - to the top of the world.”
