The suffering goes on in Syrian conflict

WHILE Christians have suffered in Syria, those who have suffered the most are the 2,700 members of the Syrian army and police who have been brutally murdered by foreign terrorists.

In Homs, on February 12, the funerals took place of 39 members of the Syrian armed forces.

Foreign terrorist groups, including Saudi death squads, roam the streets of Homs looking for victims.

Recently a top Saudi official was arrested.

My Christian faith beholds me to support the legally constituted government of Syria.

The Arab Monitors Report (http://www.innercitypress.com/LASomSyria.pdf) which was never brought to the UN, found no evidence of systematic violence by the Assad government against civilians but did find clear evidence of buses blown up by terrorists, including the murder of eight civilians and the blowing up of police vans, resulting in the murder of police officers.

My information is that the so-called Free Syrian Army does not exist.

Most of the images coming out of Homs have been from mobile phones, with no independent verification.

US Intelligence officials in Washington have told McClatchy News reporters last week that the suicide bombings are the work of Al Qaeda who have infiltrated from Iraq.
