Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan after his side were dumped out of the Champions League with a controversial loss to Real Madrid.
He said the dressing room, and manager Alex Ferguson, were ‘distraught’ after his side fell foul of a controversial refereeing decision to lose 2-1 at home to Real Madrid and be eliminated from the Champions League.
