Warning to One Direction’s local fans

Concert promoters have warned Northern Ireland fans of One Direction to make sure they get the date right for the band’s sold-out gigs this week.

The chart-topping boyband will perform four sold-out dates at the Odyssey Arena.

Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday will see 1D’s fans descend upon the Belfast venue to see the pop phenomenon perform some of their biggest hits.

But Aiken Promotions has warned fans to make sure they get the date right, or else they risk missing the chance to see their musical heroes.

A spokesperson said: “Take care to note which date your tickets are for and please ensure you attend on the correct day. Patrons coming to the venue on a different date to that stated on your ticket will not be admitted to the venue.”

The spokesperson added that under 14s must be accompanied to the gig by someone aged over 18.

While the concert is expected to draw huge crowds the promotions agency also warned no queueing will be allowed before 5pm.
