Celebrate the Queens 90 th birthday in style with a day of free events at Lurgan Park

Don’t forget to pack the sun cream along with your picnic blankets and chairs for the amazing celebratory events planned for Saturday to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Taking place at Lurgan Park, the free fun day – between noon and 3pm – will have lots of ‘noble’ activities for children to take part in.

There will also be a free concert in the park from 7.30pm until 10.30pm, and a fireworks display to end the evening.

The impressive line-up for the concert sees the Rod Patterson Session Orchestra, featuring Siobhan Pettit and Aine Whelan with special guest George Jones performing 90 Years of Music.

It will be hosted by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

Television presenters Paul Clarke (UTV) and Sarah Travers (BBC) will be the celebrity comperes for the evening.
