A severe weather warning has been issued for Northern Ireland on Thursday.
The Met Office said westerly winds with gusts of up to 70 miles per hour could hit exposed coasts and hills. Elsewhere wind speeds of between 50 and 60 miles per hour are expected.
There was a warning of possible disruption to transport throughout the day, but the winds are forecast to ease on Thursday afternoon.
