A life under the wrath of God

Now that the worship of Martin McGuinness for the present seems to have died down slightly, may I make a few remarks on his fate as a Bible believing Christian.

The remarks by all the false prophets, for instance, that Mr McGuinness ‘started wrong but finished right’ is so amazing it could hardly be believe it if we did not read it.

According to the Word of God, and let all things be according “to the law and the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light (truth) in them”, Isaiah 8: 20.

The instant an immortal Soul leaves the body it goes to one of two places only, either Heaven or Hell, there is no in between!

Therefore Martin McGuinness has not finished his life, but only started it — a life under the wrath of God.

The Scripture is emphatic that no “murderer hath eternal life abiding in him”1 John 3: 15, indeed we are not even to pray for them, 1 John 5: 16.

Now since eternal life is given to the Saints in Eternity, it can never be given to any others in time Titus 1: 2.

Therefore Eternal life in Glory which is given to the Saints, was as it says given in eternity; since murderers have not this eternal life, the portion for their immortal Souls will be the eternal wrath of Almighty God in Hell!

Hell is that awful place where “men shall seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them,” Rev. 9: 6; Job also has words to the same effect Chap.3: 21, for Hell is an ever living death, and an ever dying life, ever dying in death always, and never dead.

The Lord Jesus Himself describes it as the place “where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9: 44, 46, 48), three times repeated to emphasise the fact.

Since all murderers (God is no respecter of person) will have their place in “the Lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death;” what can they do? Well, since there are degrees of punishment in Hell, see Matt. 11: 20—24; Luke 12: 47, 48 it will be better to be beaten with fewer stripes, than with many. I appeal to all those who are without Christ, aliens, strangers, and without God, to pray to the Lord for the gift of repentance, if peradventure you may recover yourself out of the snare of the devil, who has taken you captive at his will, and that He will turn you unto Himself that you may be turned, may the Lord use this to His own glory, for Christ’s sake, Amen.
