Have your say

Whilst not wishing to rain on Belfast’s parade of three hundred new jobs, it grieves me to see Deputy First Minister McGuinness’s participation in what seems to be a wearisomely long promotion of jobs coming to Belfast.

Would that he would take First Minister Foster aside and say:

“Look Arlene I am fed up having a walk on part time after time heralding new jobs for Belfast.

“I represent Derry/Londonderry which is still part of the Northern Ireland you keep wittering on about, maybe if we put our heads together we could bring some pressure to bear on Invest NI to go out and get some jobs for my home city.

“This time you will have a walk on part and I will announce the new jobs to the gamut of local media and an appreciative crowd in Guildhall Square, who will greet the news with cries of,’ and about time too.”
