Have your say

I have just been reading about the “Stakeknife” investigation, yet another attempt to blame the Brits for everything, even the barbaric torture republicans inflicted on their own community.

In Northern Ireland’s crazy world of one-sided historic investigations this has to take the biscuit, SIX International Expert Investigators, will be added to by another SIX Victims Representatives!

Of course, all our own PSNI will be permitted to do is write the cheques for yet another witch hunt.

We all know the only outcome will be the further undermining of the intelligence services who have saved thousands of lives up to the present day.

During the election campaign Arlene Foster said she would not tolerate any “rewriting of history”, well I’m not sure what history she reads these days but since she took office I haven’t seen one jot of difference in the one sided republican whitewash we are sick of witnessing in recent years.

I presume this investigation has the blessing of both first ministers, and Martin obviously will tell the dozen concerned officials every details he knows about “the nutting squad”.

If that were to happen then maybe we could see some balance, but until then the search for justice seems to tilt the scales in one direction alone.

Let us bring some balance to the process, with more of the focus on the 60% of deaths caused by republican terrorists and also the 30% of deaths caused by loyalists.
