Time for Sinn Fein to sit in Commons

SINN Fein are now well established in the political life of Northern Ireland and playing their full part in the life of the Northern Ireland Assembly and local councils, as well as taking their seats in the Dail, the parliament of the Irish Republic.

Is it not now time for Sinn Fein MPs to take their seats at Westminster and play their full part in the democratic process by actually representing those who elect them by sitting in the House of Commons at Westminster.

As a Popular Unionist I would have thought that the idea of anyone wanting to enter politics was to try and change things and, to me, the only way to do that is to enter Parliament.

What’s the difference in Sinn Fein accepting the Queen’s shilling by sitting in Stormont but not Westminster?
