A 'SPOOKTACULAR' fireworks display lit up the Belfast night sky as thousands enjoyed the annual Halloween festivities.
This year, Belfast's now famous Monster Mash took place in Clarendon Dock and despite the cold weather, spectators turned out in huge numbers to watch the largest illumination display in Northern Ireland.

All across the Province, Ulster folk got into the Halloween spirit as a whole host of 'ghoulish' activities took place.

Large numbers turned out in Londonderry, which has a reputation for its annual celebrations, climaxing with a fireworks display over the River Foyle.

Other notable events included a specially themed event at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Belfast Zoo's Boo at the Zoo and a real life ghost train in Downpatrick.
