Glentoran have won the first every Irish League soccer match played on a Sunday.
Gary Hamilton turned up on the 56th minute to score the only goal of the match against Bangor at The Oval

The game was played on Sunday after it was postponed on Sautrday due to a waterlogged pitch.

Some protestors did turn up outside the ground, but fans from both clubs enjoyed their part in history.

It was an outstanding goal from Gary Hamilton gave Glentoran a 1-0 win over Bangor at the Oval after an unconvincing display.

Darren Boyce missed an easy first-half chance for the Glens and Daryl Fordyce saw his 56th-minute penalty saved by Andrew Plummer, diving to his right.

Hamilton produced a classy finish on 56 minutes, timing his run to perfection, controlling the ball on his chest and then lifting the ball over Plummer.

Bangor exerted some pressure late on but were unable to find an equaliser.
