Juniors fall short in their title quest

Leinster produced a magnificent defensive display to deny Ulster getting the necessary scores which would have swung the Inter-Provincial Championship trophy to the North of Ireland.
Instead, a second three-point defeat in a game they could, and probably should have won, saw Ulster have to settle for the bridesmaids place on the day and third overall in the championship table.

It was the end of an intense period for coach Glen Kyle, assistant, Brian Robinson, and the players who could not be faulted for commitment.

In Cork last week, Ulster lost 6-3 in a game they should have won.
