ULSTER will be looking to upset the formbook when they kick-off their European campaign against Stade Francais on Saturday.
News Letter rugby correspondent Richard Mulligan believes the 1999 European Cup winners have nothing to lose against the French side, despite their awesome reputation.

The Parisian side currently sit on top of the French Championship, having won seven games in a row.

After a disastrous start to their season, Ulster finally obtained their first victory in the Magners League against Edinburgh last weekend.

Straight to the point as ever, our man gives his views on Ulster's prospects, the much maligned pink shirt expected to be worn at Ravenhill by Stade Francais players and shares his usual weekly prediction.

Ulster start as underdogs despite having beaten the French team on their last four visits to Belfast.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 3.30pm.
