BALLYMENA United manager Roy Walker is refusing to panic despite stuttering to only one point in three games.
The Sky Blues earned a draw at Newry City, but have suffered humiliating defeats to Cliftonville (5-1) and latterly Dungannon Swifts (3-0).

Today Walker takes United to Drumahoe to take on an Institute side who suffered a 7-0 hammering to champion
s Linfield last Friday night.

“I will be looking to get a win in the league to get this yoke off our backs,” Walker said.

“I am glad the transfer window has closed because the speculation definitely unsettled the whole squad, not just the players involved.

“The window is now closed, so this is the squad that we will have for the next few months so I am confident we can settle down and get some positive results.

“People forget we have a competitive win under our belts in the County Antrim Shield, so we are more than capable of winning again in the Premiership.

“Institute will be another tough test, and they will be on the rebound following last week’s result.”

TEAM NEWS

INSTITUTE are without Philip Lowry who is on international duty and Mark Scoltock (ankle). There will be a late fitness test on John O’Loughlin.

BALLYMENA welcome back midfielder Gavin Melaugh from an ankle injury. Aidan Watson (hamstring) also returns.

LAST SEASON’S RESULT

Institute 1-1 Ballymena United
