Belfast Giants too strong for Nottingham Panthers
Belfast Giants secured a convincing 6-2 victory over Nottingham Panthers at the SSE Arena.
Andy Bohmbach gave the visitors a first-period lead when he grabbed the opener at 5:18.
Colin Shields scored 57 seconds in the second session and that set the tone for the Giants.

Hide AdMike Radja netted at 28:54 and Mitch Ganzak (powerplay) at 32:25 as Belfast turned the game on its head.
Mike Forney made it 4-1 to the Giants at 41:32 before David Clarke closed the gap at 51:04.
But Giants stormed to the win with Kris Beech on target at 56:42 and Shields added an empty-netter at 59:57
