Reports had suggested that Frampton would step-up to featherweight and face Santa Cruz for the Mexican’s WBA World title.

But McGuigan - who trains Frampton - says nothing has been agreed yet and ‘The Jackal’ has plenty of options.

“There has been talks of Santa Cruz but nothing has been agreed yet - so we will have to wait and see what happens. And see if they can get that fight made.

“If not Carl has mandatorys with Shingo Wake with the IBF and Guillermo Rigondeax with the WBA.

“But we don’t know whats going on with Rigondeaux after the Jezza Dickens situation.

“There is also Nonito Donaire who is about to fight fight for the vacant WBO World title and there is also WBC World champion Hugo Ruiz.

“But hopefully we can get the Santa Cruz fight over the line but if not we have plenty of other fights for Carl,” he added.
