James Tennyson sets sights on British title clash
Tennyson was in a hurry on Saturday night as he dispatched Antonio Horvatic inside a round at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Saturday night.
The Belfast featherweight is now the mandatory challenger for Walsh’s British belt and he says he will be prepared for when the call comes.

Hide Ad“I will not take much time off. I enjoy training and I will proable have two days off and then get straight back into it.
“I usually have an eight week camp before a fight - but I leave all that to Tony and Mark Dunlop.
“I am looking forward to the fight and hopefully it will be sorted soon,” he added.
Paul Hyland jnr also got another win on his record after beating Jacek Wylezol 59-55 on points.

Hide AdIt was another solid performance from Hyland but he wishes he had boxed more.
“The plan was to box him but after 30 seconds that went out the window.
“It was a good fight and it was good to get another win on the record. Hopefully this will be a big year for me,” said Hyland.
Commonwealth Games silver medal winner Joev Fitzpatrick had an easy night at the office as he stopped Ruslans Berdimuradovs after 47 seconds of their encounter.

Hide AdFitzpatrick has all the tools to go a long way as a professional and he will have harder tests in the future.
And Fitzpatrick said: “I did catch him but I am a bit embaressed he went down so easy. People have spent money on tickets and I don’t want people to go down if you hit them once.”
Derry’s Tyrone McCullagh also impressed as he stopped Antons Zacets after 1 minute 43 seconds of the first round of their clash.
McCullagh looks the part and with his southoaw stance he will give anyone problems.
And Fergal McCrory entertained the big crowd at the Europa as he saw off Peter Mellar 40-36 on points.
