Jamie Conlan wins Commonwealth title in London but James Tennyson's British title bid comes up short
The Belfast Super-flyweight put Nelson down in the first but he then took a trip to the canvas himself in the third as the fight hotted up.
The traded shots in the fourth and fifth with both fighters having their moments.

Hide AdNelson upped the pace in the sixth and kept pushing forward but Conlan covered up and countered well.
Conlan was down in the seventh and was looking tired but he made the bell.
Then in the eighth round Conlan caught Nelson with a great body shot and the fight was over.
But there was disappointment for James Tennyson as he lost in his bid to become the British Featherweight champion.

Hide AdTennyson was stopped at the end of the fifth round by Ryan Walsh.
The Belfast fighter had started well but was down in the second before Walsh got the victory in the fifth.
Tennyson said: “I am gutted and I didn’t feel myself in there. I am just disappointed.”
