Belfast’s Ray Ginley is looking to get back on track after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Ginley - unbeaten after four fights - suffered a shoulder injury on his USA debut and hasn’t fought since October.
But he now back in action and looking to staying busy.
“Basically my shoulder got injured about one minute into my last fight in October of last year.
“That prevented me from boxing and I had to get surgery to address the problem.
“Thankfully it wasn’t major surgery. I started punching only two weeks ago. I’m not 100 percent just yet but I’ll be out again at the end of August and then hopefully twice in September,” he added.
Meanwhile, Belfast cruiserweight Tommy McCarthy is heading towards big things according to manager Pat Magee.
“Tommy has done well in his two fights to date.
“He is fighting at Cruiserweight and if he keeps developing I can see him fighting for a British title next year.”
