Alfredo Meli will take to the ring at the Holiday Inn in Belfast on Saturday night for the second time in just over a week,

Last Friday night Meli saw off Dan Blackwell on points and this weekend he will face Dee Taggart. And Meli says is delighted to be getting these fights under his belt.

“It is great to be active and hopefully I will get another win on my record.

“I don’t know too much about Taggert but I am excecting a tough fight.

“I was pleased with my performance against Blackwell and I will look to build on that,” he added.

Also on the bill Dee Walsh faces Jozsef Kormnay for the International Masters Light Middleweigh title in what looks like a good clash.

Walsh looked good on his outing at the Devenish last month and he will be looking to keep his unbeaten run going at the weekend.

Heavyweight Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner makes his debut against Zoltan Elekes.

Turner was a top amateur and pushed Anthony Jushua close when they met a few years ago.

Anthony Fitzgerald, Declan Geraghty and Kofi Yates will also feature. Tickets can be got from fighters on the bill and on the door.
