Barry McGuigan is convinced Marc McCullough and Jamie Conlan have very bright futures ahead of them starting at the Waterfront Hall on June 20

McGuigan - CEO of Cyclone Promotions - will run a show at the Belfast venue on June 20 before running more events in the coming months.

McCullough and Conlan are highly thought and McGuigan - a former WBC World champion - believes that both the Belfast lads are ready to make the break through

“Both Mark and Jamie are on the verge of domestic level titles.

“Jamie is already WBO European champion, No. 11 in the world and No.1 in the UK and Ireland and we feel he is ready for big fights.

“Marc faces a tough challenge on June 20, but his trainer John Breen and myself have every confidence in this kid.

“Other than Lee Selby we feel he is ready for anyone at domestic level.”

And McGuigan feels Conlan is in line for a shot at the British title.

“We feel if we do things right we can get Jamie a British title fight this year. I think McCullough and Conlan go all the way. They are in very lively weight divisions and shows like this will help build toward titles and success.

“We also have middleweight Connrad Cummings and an achievable goal for us to get him into the top ten in Britian before the end of the year.”

Tickets for the Waterfront show on June 20 are on sale.
