Eamonn O’Kane is hoping to get the call to secure his place on Carl Frampton’s bill in Belfast.

Frampton’s camp will announce ‘The Jackal’s next move at the Europa Hotel on Thursday morning.

It is expected they will conform that Frampton will fight in Belfast at the end of March or the beginning of April.

And IBF Inter-continental champion O’Kane wants to join the party.

“Yes hopefully I will be on that bill, but I have had other options. There was talk of me fighting in a Prizefighter event in America and I was also offered a fight with Billy Joe Saunders for the vacant European title.

“Talks broke down for that fight but Saunders is a boy I would love to fight in the future.”

Meanwhile the semi-finals take place tonight for the Ulster Elite Championships at the Dockers club in Belfast.

Semi-finals: Light Flyweight Blaine Dobbins v John Cassidy; Flyweight Colin McKay v Sean Higginson; Bantamweight Anthony O’Rawe v Gary McKenna and Daniel Fullerton v Kurt Walker.

Lightweight Joseph Fitzpatrick v Tyrone McCullagh and Marc McLaughlin v Gerard Matthews. Light-welterweight: Sean Duffy v Eamonn Magee and Paul Hyland v Mark O’Hara.

Middleweight Conor Coyle v Matthew Neill and Daniel Hagan v JP Delaney. Light Heavyweight: Paul Quinn v Padraig McCrory and Damien Ramsey v Sean McGlinchey.

Super-heavyweight: Chris Devanny v Colin Mccabe.
