Joe Hillerby will be looking to right a few wrongs when he steps into the ring at the Devonish Complex on Saturday night.
The Sandy Row boxer faces Vladimere Riha after losing to Phill Fury last year.
And Hillerby is also hoping that a couple of victories will get him another shot against Irish Champion Lee Murtagh.
Hillerby and Murtagh fought for the Irish belt in the past and Hillerby was forced to retire that night with a dislocated shoulder – when he was well ahead on the scorecards – and he wants a rematch.
“My training camp has gone well. I can’t wait to get back in the ring. I am disappointed the Darren Cruise fight didn’t happen, but these things happen in boxing.
“I am looking to put on a good show and get the win in style. I would love the chance to fight Fury or Murtagh again.
“Hopefully after this win I can get a rematch sorted with Murtagh for the Irish title. I was beating him the last time we met and then my shoulder went.
“I have to take care of business on Saturday first.
“It has been too long since I have been in the ring. It is time to start getting busy if all goes to plan on Saturday,” he added.
Also on the bill Declan Trainor faces Stephen Reynolds in a cruiserweight title fight. Daniel McShane fights for a belt, while Paddy Gallagher, John Hutchinson, Christina McMahon and Oisin Fagan will all be in action.
Tickets will be on sale on the door.
