The Ulster Hall will be rocking on September 13 - 25 years to the day that Billy Murray claimed his first World title at the famous Belfast venue.

The Belfast trainer has been in the sport for over 40 years and on September 13 he will be hoping to crown several new World champions - all of whom have been trained at his world famous Prokick gym in east Belfast.

Local fighters Gary Hamilton, Darren McMullan, Cathy McAleer, Alex Coicio, Ursula Agnew, Samantha Robb and Johnny Smith will all fight for World titles on the night.

Murray says he cannot wait for the ‘Lords of the Ring’ return.

“It’s just like coming home,” said Murray announcing this September’s show.

“It feels like just a heartbeat since that night my heart was racing and I stepped through the ropes. Hill was a hell of fighter – tough, wily, kicked like an angry horse. He’d beaten me once before, but he wasn’t going to beat me that night.

“I’ve had a wonderful and incredible career since then but that night set me on the way, I felt that I had to mark it and there’s no better way for me, and for the sport I love, than to look to the future.

“It’s going to be a night that will live long. Who knows how many more Billy Murray’s will emerge,” he added.

Murray says Hamilton has to deliver on the night.

“He has to win. This is a must win fight and if he loses this one - there is no-way back. It will be great night of kickboxing,” he added.
