Trainer Shane McGuigan is convinced Carl Frampton has the tools to win his Final Eliminator for the WBC World title against Hugo Cazares at the Odyssey on April 4.

Frampton will face the experienced two time, two weight World champion Cazares in front of a packed house at the Belfast venue.

Cazares has won 40 of his 49 fights, with 27 coming by way of knock-out.

But McGuigan is sure ‘The Jackal’ will get rid of Cazares.

“This is going to be Carl’s toughest fight to date. This guy has fought at a high level, he has gone 12 rounds many times and he is vastly experienced.

“He is not as hard a puncher as Kiko Martinez, but he will be harder to hit.

“But I think when Carl nails him, he will know all about it. He is a light Flyweight coming up so when Carl tags him a few times, he will go into his shell.

“Cazares is a tough guy, who has only been stopped twice before - but Carl has the power to stop him at the Odyssey,” he added.
