Young Belfast bowler Chloe Watson is guaranteed a busy schedule in the Irish Indoor Women’s National Championships at the Ballybrakes Community Stadium, that get under way on Friday morning.
The 16 year old has battled her way through to the latter stages of four disciplines.
Watson begins her trophy assault in the fours championship. Joined by Karen Woodside, Cliodhna Eadie and Sandra Bailie, Shaws Bridge combination face a difficult assignment against former winners Muriel Wilkinson, Wilma Adair, Sally McAuyley and Barbara Cameron, form the County Antrim club.
Then Watson will go head to head with Countney Meneely (County Antrim) in the final of the Under-25 singles.
On Saturday morning, Chloe will line out against Dessa Baird (Ballybrakes Community) in the semi final of the singles before she features in the triples decider, along with Eadie and Bailie.
They await the winners of the semi final tie featuring Sarah Jane Coleman and Jennifer Dowds.
