Adam Nawalka’s side take on Holland tonight, looking to continue their seven-game unbeaten run as they gear up for their Group C campaign in France, where their opponents will be Germany, Ukraine and Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland.

Lewandowski is the star name in the 23-man squad for the tournament, from which Przemyslaw Tyton, Pawel Dawidowicz and Artur Sobiech have been cut.

The Bayern Munich front man, who netted 13 times in qualifying, told sports daily Przeglad Sportowy: “When it comes to set-pieces, Poland might be even better than Bayern Munich.

“You can clearly see the coach’s hand in it. Nothing happens by coincidence. We have set patterns that can earn us goals.
