IRISH CUP: Aaron Burns confident Linfield can earn rare win at Solitude
History does not favour David Healy’s side as they prepare for a massive quarter-final clash in north Belfast.
You have to go back four years to unearth Linfield’s last league win at Solitude, when Daryl Fordyce (2) and Peter Thompson scored in a 3-1 victory.

“We’ll have to have a game plan and play to our full potential. It’ll be a challenge, but it’s a huge incentive to reach the last four.
“A semi-final is up for grabs, so it’s a massive game. It’s a tough tie but we’ll be well prepared for it.
“We drew 3-3 at Solitude in the league earlier in the season. We were 2-0 up and should have seen the game out, but we made mistakes in the second-half.
“Cliftonville are a good side and dangerous opponents.”
