Glenavon’s win was the perfect tribute for former striker Mark Farren who passed away on Wednesday following a long battle with cancer.
A minute’s silence was observed prior to kick-off, with fans joining in a minute’s applause in the 10th minute in memory of Farren – who wore the number 10 shirt during his time at Mourneview Park.
The applause erupted just as the visitors broke the deadlock with Marshall rushing into the box to head home Cooper’s cross.
