The Blues have guaranteed second spot in the Danske Bank Premiership and look like finishing runners-up to Crusaders in the title race.

They also have a massive Irish Cup final against Glenavon to come on May 7.

Before that Healy’s men have three remaining Premiership fixtures – Tuesday’s derby against Glentoran at The Oval followed by games against Cliftonville and Glenavon.

Looking ahead to Tuesday’s trip to the Glens, Healy said: “We are going there to win – simple as that.

“Whoever pulls on the Linfield jersey will be ready to fight and scrap for the win. That is always our aim.

“Players have to perform every time they put on that blue jersey. Not only to me but to the supporters who pay their hard-earned money to watch Linfield Football Club.

“So there will certainly be no let-up from the players. We have three league games remaining that we want to win, and then we will focus on the Irish Cup final.”

Glentoran boss Alan Kernaghan is prepared for a testing conclusion to their Premiership campaign.

“It just gets harder from now to the end of the season,” he said.

“We have Linfield and then games against Glenavon and Crusaders. There are no easy fixtures in there.

“But we are in decent form at the minute and we will go into these games with confidence.”
