Linfield have confirmed the signing of Coleraine midfielder Stephen Lowry on a two-year deal.
Lowry passed a medical at Windsor Park on Saturday after the two clubs reached agreement over a fee for the 27-year-old.
He becomes new Blues manager Warren Feeney’s third signing following the arrivals of striker Sammy Morrow and defender Chris Hegarty.
“I am delighted to have signed for Linfield – it is a great move for me,” Lowry said.
“Linfield are a massive club so it is an exciting challenge for me.
“It is an honour that they have paid the fee for me to come here. They wanted me last summer but I stayed at Coleraine, but hopefully now I can hit the ground running.
“It will be difficult leaving Coleraine. I enjoyed my time under Oran Kearney, but you have to look forward and I am looking ahead to the new season with Linfield now.”
