Moneyslane Football Club are set to host a Manchester United Legends side in August.
The club will officially open its Jubilee Park pitch and facilities on Saturday, August 2 and will mark the occasion with a special fixture against the Red Devils side.
Over the last three years, Moneyslane, with the help of Sport NI and other government funding, have been developing a completely new football facility and community hub in the heart of Moneyslane Village.
This comprises a full size grass pitch, a grass training pitch, a 3G training pitch, a club house and new changing room complex.
These facilities are and will be used by all the local community and by a range of organisations including Cub Scouts, GB and the local GAA club.
Organisers are keen to create the most memorable day for the club and the wider community by attracting Manchester United Legends.
The Legends are set to include Ray Wilkins, Ronny Jonnson, David Healy with ex-Rangers star Michael Mols also making an appearance.
The game will be against a Moneyslane select team commencing 2pm.
Organisers plan to have the official opening of the facilities prior to kick off – the capacity will be 2800 people.
