Kenny Miller pleased to reach 20 goals as Rangers prepare for Scottish Cup final

“I’m delighted to reach 20 goals for the season,” Miller said.

“It was nice to hit that landmark – it’s just disappointing not to get the win. It’s always all about the team – but you’re always judged as a striker by the number of goals you score”.

There was, however, no winning end to the League campaign for the Light Blues as a last-minute equaliser from Lewis Morgan earned St. Mirren a 2-2 draw.

Miller did draw some positives – despite Rangers having failed to win any of their last four League fixtures.

Indeed, Sunday’s draw means that the Light Blues have failed to win an away game in more than two months.

“Sunday was a far better performance than last Tuesday at Livingston,” Miller said.

“The way we went about our business was far better than the two previous games. We’re really disappointed with the result obviously.

“This was a really difficult surface. It’s not an excuse – but we dominated the full 45 minutes in the second half, creating chance after chance. We got our reward with two goals - but it could have been a few more.”
