Northern Ireland Under 15 manager Stephen Robinson has named an 18-player squad for next week’s invitation internationals against Belgium.
The teams will meet at Solitude on Monday (3pm) and two days later at Newry AFC Showgrounds ( 1pm).
Robinson has retained the bulk of the squad which performed so creditably in earning two draws against Estonia last week.
“I was delighted with the performances in Tallinn,” Robinson said.
“After a long and tiring journey less than 24 hours before the first game the team showed great determination to secure a 1-1 draw.
“Also, in the second match to come back from two goals down to deservedly draw 2-2 was most satisfying.”
“The games in Estonia were a great introduction to international football for the boys but to test your skills against a top class side like Belgium will be a whole new experience for the squad.
“In recent years Belgium has produced a wealth of young talented players so that they are now a force to be reckoned with the best in world football.
“I know that their coach Thierry Siquet will be expecting a lot from his team and we will need to be on top form to compete with them.”
