Armagh City came from behind to cause an Irish Cup shock against Premiership club Ards on Tuesday night.

Trailing to Willie Faulkner’s 12th-minute opener, Armagh responded in superb fashion with three goals in the second half.

The fight-back started in the 54th minute when Stevie Murray equalised for the Holm Park outfit.

Ultan Lennon then gifted Armagh the lead on the hour mark, with Murray doubling his tally from the penalty spot to make it 3-1 six minutes from time.

The win sees Armagh progress to a sixth round meeting with Premiership giants Glentoran next month.
