Ballymena United hope to have striker Shane Dolan available for Donegal Celtic clash

Ballymena United boss Glenn Ferguson is hoping to have striker Shane Dolan fit for Tuesday’s must-win clash with Donegal Celtic.

The Sky Blues know victory is required at the Showgrounds if they are to remain in the hunt for a top-six finish this season.

Former Celtic hitman Dolan missed Saturday’s draw with Linfield with a knee injury.

“It was a contact injury from where he collided with Dungannon’s keeper during the week,” Ferguson said

“It flared up again and it was just a bit tight when he was flexing his leg at the weekend but he should be fit for Tuesday night.”
