CLIFTONVILLE chairman Gerard Lawlor has welcomed the club’s new sponsorship deal with leading bookmakers Sean Graham.

The Reds yesterday confirmed a two-year contract with the established firm.

The agreement will see the Sean Graham logo emblazoned across Cliftonville’s shirts in what is a significant financial boost for the Solitude club.

“We very pleased to have secured one of the country’s leading businesses as our main sponsor,” Lawlor told the club’s official website.

“As a club, we are hugely appreciative of their backing in these difficult financial times. We look forward to developing our relationship with Sean Graham and naturally ask that our fans support the companies who support us.”

General Manager of Sean Graham’s Chris Deery said he was delighted to have the company associated with the North Belfast outfit.

“Like our own customers, we like to ‘back winners’ and Sean Graham staff strongly believes this will be a successful partnership for both club and sponsor,” Deery said.

“We are very proud to be able to support Cliftonville, which has a long and proud history, and to be playing our part in supporting Irish League football during these tough economic times.

“We have six betting shop businesses in North Belfast employing over 50 staff, each serving our many loyal customers.

“We are excited to be able to add Cliftonville as a sponsorship partner, as well as be associated with Cliftonville’s many teams, staff and fans and look forward to sharing in their future success.”
