PORTADOWN 1 CLIFTONVILLE 3
Clitonville came through their latest Danske Bank Premiership test with flying colours to defeat Portadown at Shamrock Park.
Goals from Diarmuid O’Carroll, Joe Gormley and Liam Boyce eased Tommy Breslin’s men to three Premiership points.
Sean Mackle threatened a revival with Portadown’s only goal when the score was at 2-0 – but it proved a mere consolation in the end.

On another day it could have been five or 6-1 such was Cliftonville’s dominance in front goal – coupled with Portadown’s abject defending at the back.
