Coleraine have completed the signing of midfielder Neil McCafferty on a two-year contract.
McCafferty put pen-to-paper on the deal on Friday after holding talks with Bannsiders manager Oran Kearney.
The 29-year-old left Portadown in the summer after four years at Shamrock Park.
“We are delighted to get Neil on board. He is a quality signing who brings a lot to the table,” Kearney said.
“Neil is a player who was in demand after being released by Portadown, and thankfully he has chosen Coleraine.
“We have obviously brought in Joe McNeill but we have lost Stevie Lowry during the summer, so this is another welcome addition to the squad,”
McCafferty – who has also had spells with Dungannon Swifts and Derry City – added: “I am delighted to get my future sorted, and I can’t wait to get started with Coleraine.
“Oran has a good squad assembled with plenty of quality.
“So I am looking forward to the new season and a fresh challenge.”
