Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter is celebrating again after being crowned BT Sport Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Manager of the Month.
Baxter – who lifted the award in October – has been honoured again in November.
It is reward for the Shore Road club’s superb record in recent weeks.
The Crues made it 22 games unbeaten in all competitions with Saturday’s win over Dungannon Swifts.
Their last defeat was way back on August 17 when Ballymena United earned a 2-1 win at Seaview.
It has been a stellar run that has helped elevate the club to top spot in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Crusaders are also in the final of the County Antrim Shield and semi-finals of the NIFL League Cup.
And after picking up his 11th Manager of the Month award, Baxter admits it is always special to be recognised.
“It is fantastic to be honoured in this way. You never grow tired of receiving awards like this,” he said.
“It reflects how well the club is doing, and long may it continue.
“It is a team effort at Seaview, and while this award is presented to me, it is for everyone who works tirelessly at the club.”
Crusaders defeated Portadown and Ards during the month of November, and progressed to the final of the League Cup with a penalty shootout victory over Linfield.
Baxter hopes his players can continue raising the bar as the season progresses.
“We just want to keep going for as long as we can. We take each game as it comes and we will see where it takes us,” he added.
“In a perfect world I would like to lift the title, but we face a massive battle with a number of clubs also setting their sights on the Gibson Cup.
“We will just give it our best shot.”
