CRUSADERS 5 BALLYMENA UNITED 1

Midfielder Chris Morrow grabbed a goal of the season contender in this easy Premier League win over Ballymena United at Seaview.

The 27 year old, who missed much of the season because of a serious knee injury, walloped home a wonderful effort from 40 yards five minutes from the interval to kill off this totally one-sided game.

Gary McCutcheon opened the scoring with a thundering drive from 20 yards, providing the finish to a clever Paul Heatley pass.

Heatley increased the advantage two minutes later, with further goals from Colin Coates and McCutcheon completing the rout.

Alan Teggart hit a consolation for Ballymena 11 minutes from time.

Crusaders: McCrea, McKeown (Gibson 80), Leeman, Coates, Morrow (McCready 72), Robinson, Caddell McCutcheon (Rainey 72), McClean, Snoddy, Heatley. Subs: McBride, Mitchell.

Ballymena United: Nelson, Kane, Munster (Surgenor 34), Rodgers, Black, Thompson (Duffin 71), Jenkins, Cushley (Vauls 46), Teggart, Liggett, Davidson. Subs: Bingham, McCabe.
