Dungannon Swifts Crues to first home win

Dungannon Swifts claimed their first home win of the new campaign against Crusaders today.

Emmet Friars gave Swifts a 39th minute lead, powering home a header following a corner from brother Sean.

The Crues had chances in the first half with Timmy Adamson dragging a shot just wide and Niall Morgan denying Paul Leeman.

But in spite of plenty of possession in the second period, the visitors struggled to test the goalkeeper .

Joshua Cahoon wrapped up the points with a cool finish in the 88th minute, converting from a knock-down by Terry Fitzpatrick.
