Europa League, Second Round, first leg

IF Brommapojkarna 4 Crusaders 0

Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter last night admitted his team’s Europa League adventure is over following this crushing defeat in Sweden.

Goals from IF Brommakokarna’s Dardan Rexhepi, Mauricio Albornoz, Jacob Larsson and Nicklas Barkroth makes next week’s second round second leg at Seaview a mere formality.

“They were quicker, mentally and physically, all over the pitch, but that’s what you expect from a professional Swedish team,” said Baxter.

Crusaders best chances fell to Jordan Owens, Chris Morrow and Paul Heatley but they were unable to find a way past IF keeper Davor Blazevic.
