Glenavon are top of the Danske Bank Premiership after dethroning champions Cliftonville.
The hosts had two chances inside the first five minutes for Mark Patton and Guy Bates but Cliftonville were resolute with both efforts going to waste.
Bates also headed over a Patton cross as the Lurgan Blues matched the champions in thefirst half.
At the other end Andy Coleman was the hero, denying Chris Curran, Darren Boyce and Gormley with well anticipated blocks.
In the second half man of the match Rhys Marshall had an absolute stormer and put in three blocks in a row to deny Martin Donnelly twice and Ryan Catney.The goal that put the Lurgan Blues at the summit of the table came on 69 minutes when a McKeown free kick was spilt by Conor Devlin into the path of McGrory, who tapped in fromclose range.
They held on for dear life when Donnelly’s free kick sailed wide.
