Under-strength Glenavon roared to an easy victory over Glentoran at the Oval.

Striker Tiarnan Mulvenna shot Gary Hamilton’s team in front, converting form the spot on 39 minutes.

Midfielder Mark Patton grabbed a second on 70 minutes before teenager Andrew Hoey scored his first goal for the club nine minutes from time.

Owen McKeown, a 17 year old, completed the demolition by firing home in injury time.

The victory helped Glenavon to move up to fifth place in the Premier League table.
