Havern levels for Town

Tough conditions in the match between Warrenpoint Town and Crusaders

Tough conditions in the match between Warrenpoint Town and Crusaders

Marty Havern’s superb equaliser was enough to earn his Warrenpoint Town side a share of the spoils at a wet Milltown as they battled back to draw 1-1 with Stephen Baxter’s Crusaders.

Paul Heatley had put the Crues in front early on before the game died somewhat given the awful underfoot conditions. Warrenpoint’s Darren King was then harshly sent off by Referee Andrew Davey before Havern denied the visitors with his 69th minute leveller.
