Jay Donnelly was the hero of the hour as his double gave Cliftonville a 2-1 win against Ballymena United at Solitude.

Donnelly opened the Reds account in the first half before Johnny McMuray equalised for United to make it 1-1 at the break.

United’s Tony Kane was shown a straight red in the second half before three minutes from time Donnelly it the winner to give his side the three points.
