Cliftonville have confirmed the signing of Jude Winchester on a permanent deal.
Winchester joined the Reds on loan from Kilmarnock in January and made seven appearances for the champions.
On Tuesday night the 21-year-old put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with Tommy Breslin’s Reds.
“Jude is a player whom Tommy Breslin has a lot of faith in and is someone the Manager was very keen to bring to the club on a permanent basis,” Cliftonville chairman Gerard Lawlor said.
“We’re very pleased to have secured the deal not just because we have acquired another good player, but because it further demonstrates that Cliftonville is a club which is an attractive proposition to professionals who have plied their trade in the full-time game.
“Players know that we are a club making great strides forward and the addition of Jude Winchester is just the latest example of that.”
